Terms of use
This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is legally binding: German version.

1. Who we are
Hey Ayna (“Ayna”) is a service provided by Y&L Solutions UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Rahnfelsstraße 10, 68163 Mannheim, Germany (see Imprint). These terms apply to the use of the app at app.heyayna.de during the beta.
2. What Ayna is
With Ayna, you can see clothes on a photo of yourself, manage your wardrobe, get outfit suggestions and swap thoughts with friends. Ayna is a beta: features may change, be dropped or be temporarily unavailable.
3. Your account
- You can join from the age of 18. An account belongs to exactly one person.
- You can only get an account through an invitation. Only pass invitations on to people who are at least 18 and want to join themselves.
- You sign in with a passkey (for example Face ID). Protect your device with a passcode, and let us know if you lose a device.
4. What you may upload
- As a profile photo for the try-on, you upload only photos of yourself – no photos of other people, not even with their permission.
- No photos of children or teenagers, no nude images and no sexualised content.
- Nothing that breaks the law or infringes other people's rights, for example offensive comments or other people's images you don't hold the rights to. You only use photos of clothes from shops or online shops privately.
- No automated access and no attempts to get around protection mechanisms or quotas.
5. Your content belongs to you
Your photos and texts remain yours. You only allow us to store and process them to the extent necessary for the app's features – for example to create a try-on image or to send something to a friend if you want to. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account. You may use try-on images privately.
6. AI images and recommendations
Try-on images are simulations created with artificial intelligence. Colour, cut, length and fit may look different in reality. Whether something fits, Ayna works out from your measurements; that's an estimate too. The stylist's suggestions are non-binding ideas. We don't guarantee that a piece will fit or that you'll like it, and we're not liable for purchases you make because of them. We currently don't receive any commission for links to shops.
7. Friends
You decide for yourself what you show or send to friends. You can take back try-on images at any time; clothing images you've sent stay with the recipient until she or you delete them or the friendship ends. Ayna can't prevent screenshots – so only share what you're happy to share.
8. Costs and quota
The beta is free. To keep costs within limits, there's a monthly quota of 50 try-ons, which we may adjust. A paid offer only comes about with your express consent. Nothing from the beta will become chargeable automatically.
9. Reports and moderation
You report content that breaks the law or these terms to us directly in the app with “Report”: on a comment, an image or a poll, on a wardrobe item or on the friend herself. You can also write to info@yl-solutions.de. We don't tell anyone who made a report. We review every report and may remove content, take wardrobe items out of sharing and, in the event of violations, suspend an account. You'll see the outcome of your report in the app. If such a decision affects you, we'll tell you why in the app, and you can object by email. The image service automatically rejects certain requests, for example with a lot of bare skin; in that case, no image is created.
10. End of use
- You can delete your account in the app at any time.
- We can terminate your account with two weeks' notice, or immediately in the case of serious violations.
- If the beta ends, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance so that you can decide whether to carry on.
11. Liability
Because the beta is free, we're only liable for intent and gross negligence. We're liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health, under the Produkthaftungsgesetz (German Product Liability Act) and if we have fraudulently concealed a defect.
12. Changes
If we change these terms, we'll tell you in the app at least four weeks in advance. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.
13. Final provisions
German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protective provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected.
